ELECTRICAL GROUNDING
Electrical grounding is extremely important for any structure with electrical wiring. Electrical grounding provides an alternate pathway for electrical current to travel through. The grounding system is directed into the earth to ensure that any faults in the wiring of the structure do not cause surges that can lead to major electrical hazards. Poor and deficient grounding can cause a ground fault, critical process failure, and many other issues including bodily injury and or death!
LIGHTENING PROTECTION
Sustainable Ground Systems began in 1997. We were originally intended to provide electrical grounding for the oil & gas industry. Since then, we’ve branched out into government, commercial, industrial, telecommunications, and more! It’s our mission to provide state-of-the-art technology for electrical grounding and overall performance.
SHAFT GROUNDING SYSTEMS
Working in power utilities, tele-communications, or oil & gas, you know the importance of grounding. Anything large in an open area becomes highly susceptible to lightning strikes. That’s the last thing anyone wants, which is why you need to utilize the best grounding systems available to protect your equipment.
Installation Equipment and Services
In electrical engineering, ground or earth can refer to the reference point in an electrical circuit from which voltages are measured, a common return path for electric current, or a direct physical connection to the Earth. Electrical circuits may be connected to ground for several reasons. A lightning rod or lightning conductor is a metal rod or metallic object mounted on top of a building, electrically bonded using a wire or electrical conductor to interface with ground or “earth” through an electrode, engineered to protect the building in the event of lightning strike.
